Beth J. Shapiro papers
The collection consists of one copy of Beth J. Shapiro's 1982 doctoral dissertation entitled, "Intercollegiate Athletics and Big-Time Sport at Michigan State University: or 'The Difference between Good and Great is a Little Extra Effort.'" The dissertation outlines the role John Hannah played in the growth of the University and its sports, fiscal trends for college athletics, the relationship between athletics and educational achievement, and the experiences of black athletes.

Swimming records
These records contain swimming championships programs for 1941, 1959, 1960, 1962, a handout of land exercises for competitive swimming from 1956, and a memo about judging by lanes from 1956. Also included are 22 volumes of scrapbooks which contain newspaper articles about the Michigan State University swim team, local high school and recreational teams, as well as some articles about swimming on the national level.

The collection consists of digital images from the Michigan State University vs. University of Pittsburgh lacrosse games on April 6 and May 4, 2013 and MSU vs. Western Michigan University on May 3, 2013. Other events include an alumni lacrosse game held on April 7, 2013 and a banquet celebrating the 50th Anniversary of MSU lacrosse.
